Knight Benedikt 4.5mm Titanium Broad Low Contact Compression Plate
TIT0XX
A titanium orthopaedic plate that allows placement of cortex screws in either a "load position" to effect compression or a "neutral position". Use with Knight Benedikt 4.5mm titanium cortex screws.
Titanium alloy is an excellent choice for orthopaedic implants. It is stronger and lighter in weight compared to stainless steel, and has superior resistance to repeated loads (cycling) making it ideal for its application as an implant. However, excessive deformation should be avoided (ie. do not bend the plate back and forth too often).
