This spacer is only available for the standard CESF and small hybrid ESF system and represents the shortest distance (20 mm) between two rings that will allow the addition of wire fixation bolts after frame assembly. Used with 40 mm hex bolts and 6 mm nuts to simplify construction and parallel spacing of rings. Occasionally used for additional support when tensioning wires by placing the spacer between the tensioner tip and the fastening element.
